Aveta Malaysia Partners With Eragene Ict To Supply Electric Motorcycles To University Putra Malaysia (UPM) Students.

Serdang, Tuesday (27 February 2024) – Aveta Malaysia, is delighted to announce a groundbreaking collaboration with Eragene ICT Sdn Bhd to supply cutting-edge electric motorcycles to the students of University Putra Malaysia (UPM). The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was held during the “Majlis Sambutan Jubli Emas Fakulti Sains, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM)” officiated by YBhg. Prof. Dr. Zamberi Sekawi, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, UPM; and witnessed by YBrs. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nor Azwady Abd Aziz, Dean of the Faculty of Science, UPM.

This memorandum between Aveta Malaysia and Eragene ICT signifies a shared commitment revolutionize transportation, offering students an easier, eco-friendly, and cost-effective alternative for moving around the campus.

Aveta Malaysia will supply the LX02 electric motorcycle, an advanced model designed for urban commuting. The LX02 is powered by a robust 2050W BOSCH Motor, offering students a powerful and efficient mode of transportation.

Key Features of the LX02:

  • Dual Battery System: Allows travel speeds of up to 60km/h and covers distances of up to 150km on a single charge.
  • Disc Brakes: Front and rear disc brakes provide responsive and reliable braking capabilities.
  • LCD Digital Display: Offers riders easy access to essential information such as speed, battery status, and trip details.
  • Curb Weight: With a weight of 71kg, the LX02 ensures stability and ease of handling.
  • Charging Infrastructure: Sustainable and Convenient

The introduction of this model by Aveta also supports the government’s efforts in implementing the Electric Motorcycle Usage Incentive Scheme under the management of MARiiCas, providing a cash rebate of RM2,400.

Through this collaboration, Eragene ICT will be setting up a robust charging infrastructure around the Science Faculty area, ensuring students have seamless access to charging stations for their electric motorcycles. This infrastructure aims to support the daily commuting needs of students while contributing to a more sustainable campus environment.
